Student Agreement & Expectations
By submitting this Job Shadow Request, I understand and agree to the following:

I understand that Job shadows are not my first step in career exploration. I agree that I have or will participate in other career activities first, so that I am prepared for the job shadow experience

I understand that my job shadow application will be read by employers.

I understand that my parent/guardian will be required to grant permission for me to complete the job shadow by completing the electronic permission form sent to their email.

I understand that I am responsible for providing my own transportation to the employer's site.

I agree to dress appropriately and follow any workplace requirements (like safety gear or confidentiality rules).

I agree to represent myself, my school, and Inspire WI professionally at all times.

I understand that I will be responsible for reaching out to the employer contact and scheduling the job shadow with the appropriate contact information received.

I understand that Inspire WI does not run background checks on hosts.

I understand that employers reserve the right to schedule small group job shadow experiences

I understand that arranging job shadows can take up to 60 days, depending on the employer.

If your school is not currently an Inspire WI Partner School, a $10 placement fee is required for each job shadow request. This fee helps cover coordination and placement costs.

You will receive payment instructions once your request has been reviewed and approved.
