By submitting this Job Shadow Request, I understand and agree to the following:
1. Job Shadows Are a Capstone
  1. Job shadows are designed as a culminating experience, not a first step.
  2. I will only request a job shadow after completing prior career exploration activities (e.g., guest speakers, panels, Inspire WI events, workplace tours, etc.).
2. Readiness Requirements
  1. I have participated in career-connected learning experiences and can demonstrate genuine interest in this career area.
  2. I have completed this application thoughtfully to show my professionalism and readiness.
  3. I have secured parent/guardian consent.
3. Professional Expectations
  1. I will arrange my own transportation and follow my school’s attendance/absence procedures.
  2. I will dress in professional attire and follow any site-specific requirements (such as safety gear, vaccination records for healthcare settings, or confidentiality agreements).
  3. I will represent myself, my school, and Inspire WI in a professional manner at all times.
4. Other Important Notes
  1. Inspire WI does not conduct background checks on job shadow hosts.
  2. Job shadows may be scheduled in small groups with other students.
  3. Placement priority is given to students who have actively participated in Inspire WI events and completed the application fully.
